DETAILS

Get ready for an unforgettable journey of service, cultural immersion, and adventure in Ecuador! Partner with the Quichua and Kichwa communities to experience life through their eyes—helping with local farming, cooking, and craft-making while learning about traditional music, dance, and the vital role of Pachamama, or Mother Earth. Volunteer in Quito, where you'll assist in local schools and explore the vibrant Old Town. Venture into the breathtaking landscapes of Cotopaxi National Park, the Amazon rainforest, and the iconic Swing at the End of the World. From hands-on experiences like making chocolate from cacao to witnessing the traditions of indigenous women at Sinchi Warmi, this trip offers a perfect blend of giving back and embracing the natural and cultural beauty of Ecuador. With each day bringing a new adventure, you'll leave with lasting memories and a deeper connection to the people and places you've encountered.

IS IT RIGHT FOR ME? Stand UP Adventure Ecuador is ideal for teens who are eager to combine service, cultural immersion, and adventure in one incredible experience. While the program includes some physical activities like hiking in Cotopaxi National Park and around Cuicocha Lake, as well as working on community service projects such as agriculture and animal care with the Quichua community, the activities are designed to be manageable for most fitness levels. You won’t need to be a seasoned hiker, but there will be moments of moderate physical exertion, especially during hikes and service days. The balance between community engagement, outdoor exploration, and downtime ensures that teens can enjoy the adventure while staying within their comfort zone.
